Campervan Hire Mold

Stargazers’ campervans are pet-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry companions along for the adventure. Each van is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every use, ensuring a fresh and hygienic environment for all guests.

We welcome one small or medium-sized dog in our campervans. Unfortunately, due to the space available inside the vehicles, we are unable to accommodate large dogs.

Please note that any damage to seat coverings or interior linings, or any additional cleaning required as a result of your dog, may be charged against your security deposit.

Yes. European travel is available with our campervans for an additional £50 per night. This covers the additional costs associated with taking the vehicle abroad, including insurance and European roadside assistance.

Please let us know in advance if you plan to travel outside the UK so we can ensure the correct documentation and cover are in place for your trip.

Your selected pick-up and drop-off location will normally remain as booked. However, in rare circumstances, we may need to change the location due to unforeseen operational issues.

If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide an alternative location as close and convenient as possible to your original choice.

We always aim to provide the campervan or motorhome you originally booked. However, in rare circumstances, such as a mechanical issue, accident, breakdown or unexpected vehicle unavailability, we may need to provide a different vehicle.

The replacement vehicle may differ in size, layout, specifications or features from the vehicle originally booked. If a change is necessary, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide details of the alternative vehicle available.

Our campervans and motorhomes offer a range of different sleeping capacities, depending on the vehicle you choose. Please check the individual vehicle listing for the number of berths and sleeping arrangements before booking.

Our campervans come with the essential equipment you need for your trip, including basic cooking equipment, pots, pans, plates, bowls and cutlery. Gas is also provided. Please check the individual vehicle details and our inventory information for anything specific you may require. Bedding is not included.

Yes. A refundable security deposit is required for all hires. The deposit is normally £500 or £750 depending on the vehicle booked.

The security deposit is held for up to 14 days after the end of your hire to allow time for any damage, parking or speeding fines, additional cleaning charges or other applicable charges to be identified. Subject to this, the remaining deposit will be refunded.

Before your hire, we require a copy of the front and back of your driving licence, two recent utility bills showing the same name and address as your driving licence, and a DVLA driving licence check code.

These documents must be provided at least two weeks before your arrival date. You must also bring your original driving licence with you when collecting the vehicle.

Customer Cancellations

Cancellation charges are based on the amount of notice given before the start of your hire:

Cancellation by Stargazers / Vehicle Unavailability

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking because your booked vehicle is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for hire, and we are unable to provide an alternative vehicle, you will receive a full refund of the hire amount paid.

Where possible, we will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable. Stargazers Campervan Hire is not responsible for additional costs or losses associated with your trip, including travel, accommodation, campsite bookings, event tickets or other arrangements made separately from your campervan hire.

Campervan collections are arranged between 12:00pm and 3:00pm on the first day of your hire. A member of our handover team will contact you to arrange your collection time. This will usually be the day before your hire; however, during particularly busy periods, you may be contacted on the morning of your collection instead.

On your final day, the vehicle must be returned no later than 11:00am, unless an alternative return time has been agreed with us in advance.

Drivers must be aged between 25 and 70 and have held a full driving licence for at least two years. Drivers must also have no more than 6 penalty points on their licence.

All hires are subject to our insurer’s eligibility requirements and the required driving licence and identification checks.
