Hire a Campervan in Queensferry

Stargazers’ campervans are pet-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry companions along for the adventure. Each van is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every use, ensuring a fresh and hygienic environment for all guests.

We allow one small/medium sized dog. Unfortunately there isn’t space for large dogs.

Any damage to seat coverings or linings and any extra cleaning as a result of your dog will be charged against your security deposit.

While you select your preferred location during the booking process, there may be rare instances where we need to adjust the pick-up or drop-off point. This can happen due to unforeseen circumstances like staff shortages, operational issues, or other logistical challenges. We understand this can be inconvenient and will always endeavor to provide an alternative location that is as close and convenient as possible to your original choice. We’ll notify you immediately if such a change is necessary.

Yes, on occasion, the specific van allocated to your booking may need to be changed due to unforeseen issues such as mechanical problems or availability. While we always strive to provide the exact van you selected, we reserve the right to substitute it with a vehicle of equivalent or superior specifications and features. We’ll always do our best to inform you of any significant changes as soon as possible.

We have a range of different campervans with a range of different berths.

Yes, our insurance provider requires a £500 or £750 security deposit does depend on the van of your choice, which is fully refundable 14 days from departure subject to there being no damage, parking / speeding fines or extra cleaning. This is standard for the campervan hire industry.

A full Drivers Licence, 2 forms of ID for proof of address which must be the same as on the Licence and a DVLA check code these must be received within two weeks prior to your arrival date.  On the day of hire you must have your driving licence with you.

Cancellations for bookings with Stargazers Campervan are subject to charges based on the time remaining until the start of your stay. If you cancel 5 weeks or less before your arrival, 30% of the total booking amount will be charged. For cancellations made 4 weeks or less in advance, the charge increases to 40%, while cancellations made 3 weeks or less before the start date will incur a 60% fee. If you cancel 2 weeks or less before your stay, 85% of the booking will be charged, and for cancellations made 1 week or less in advance, the full booking amount (100%) will be charged. Cancellations made outside of these specified periods will only be charged the deposit.

Cancellation by Owner / Vehicle Unavailability

If we, as the owner of the vehicle, need to cancel your booking because the vehicle is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for hire, and we are unable to provide a suitable replacement vehicle, you will receive a full refund of the hire cost paid. Where possible, we will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable. However, we will not be responsible for any additional costs, losses, or expenses you may have incurred in connection with your booking, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, event tickets, or other arrangements.

Collection from 12pm to 3pm on the first day of your trip, vehicle needs to be dropped back by between 11am and 12pm at the latest on your last day.

Drivers need to be 25 years to 70 years of age and hold a full Drivers Licence for more than 2 years and no more than 6 penalty points.
